I Qualified form Southampton University, Junior Gastroenterology/ Hepatology Training in Manchester & Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Senior Gastroenterology Training in the North East of England.
I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at South Tees NHS Foundation Trust since 2003.
I have a keen interest in service Re-design and Delivery and helped set up and deliver: sub-regional hepatology service, small bowel (and recently large bowel) capsule endoscopy services and IBD services – paediatric / adult Transition & IBD & Pregnancy services.
I am actively involved in Medical Undergraduate Education for Hull and York Medical School and University of Newcastle
